Originally from Finland, Sari proudly adopted New Zealand as her home in the early 90s with her Swiss husband. Having successfully established and managed various businesses, from hospitality to jewellery design, she then spent five years managing South Canterbury school offices before administering logistics for IGENZ.

When not learning languages, te reo Māori being her latest project, as an enthusiastic outdoor person, Sari can often be found on her bike or bush-bashing in the mountains with her husband and Paavo, the dog.
