About Us

We dedicate ourselves to designing and hosting life-changing educational experiences abroad.

We love what we do at the Institute, and are passionate about stimulating change and transformation in the hearts and minds of our participants, delegates and student visitors.

With many years experience in the field of teacher education, study abroad, high school and tertiary education and global engagement we thought we would share our broad experiences and expertise with you.

This innovative and unique education model brings together the best that New Zealand educationalists, industry leaders and practitioners can offer for each study tour programme and project using our experiential based cooperative model of delivery, engagement and development.

Our founder began designing and hosting international study abroad programmes for universities in 2005. Today, the Institute is embedded into a very unique and exciting model of experiential study tours and programmes for international visitors, students, teachers, and business and government leaders.

The team shares the same values and mindset of global engagement and excellence in delivery – together we bring passion, experience and a long history of delivering life-changing programmes and tours.

Our Relationships

The Institute of Global Engagement strives to engage and work with all New Zealand education institutions and agencies, business and industry groups. We do not have exclusive partners.

Our New Zealand wide approach to delivering programmes, educational tours and projects is in collaboration with New Zealand government, universities, colleges, schools and professional agencies.

Our programmes utilise and engage a highly skilled cross section of presenters and experts who deliver life changing and transformative experiences. They are experts and leaders in their fields.

We are very proud of the support and loyalty we receive from many government agencies and institutions when hosting major events. This was evident when hosting the recent Inaugural Youth Leadership Summit for students from the sister cities of China and New Zealand.
