Sari proudly adopted Aotearoa New Zealand as her home in the early 90s after having completed Hotel Management School in her native Finland, and then having worked two and a half years in Zurich and Chur, Switzerland in various positions in the hospitality industry.

Having successfully established and managed various businesses, from hospitality to jewellery design in Aotearoa New Zealand she then spent five years managing South Canterbury school offices while also accomplishing an Accounting Technician degree from the Vision College in Christchurch, before landing at IGENZ to administer logistics.

When not learning languages, te reo Māori being her latest project, as an enthusiastic outdoor person, Sari can often be found on her bike or bush-bashing in the mountains with her Swiss husband and Paavo, the dog.
